Clapham Manor Primary School son sınıf öğrencisi Mehriban Melissa “People Don’t Care” başlıklı şiirinin The Big Green Poetry’ye alınmasından çok mutlu olduğunu söyledi.
“Önemli olan yarışmaya katılmaktı” diyen Melissa, kendine güvenin daha da arttığını belirterek arkadaşlarına da bu tür yarışmalara ilgi duymalarını istedi.
Mehriban Melissa’nın şiiri şöyle:
People Don’t Care
Litter’s floating in the air,
Here and everywhere,
We can’t breathe in clean air,
Always dirty in our way,
Dangerous chemicals in our atmosphere,
People don’t care.
Stop and think what’s going to happen,
Put your rubbish in the recycling bin,
You will save you’re your world,
With one little drop,
You will have fresh air to breathe,
Love your world but people don’t care.
People throwing rubbish on the ground,
Rubbish is growing higher and higher,
It’s causing pollution,
Save our world by shoving care,
Find a solution to save those lovely animals,
For one thing everything will change,
Show you truly care!
